This P51 plane mural is about an 80% representation of this famous WWII plane, often used as escorts for the larger B17 bombers. This plan mural is part of a 100'w wall and covers the entrance door.
A closeup of the three additional planes painted into this WW2 mural - on the right side of the 100' wall. The planes are customized with specific pilot names painted onto each plane. The B17 is also adorned with the Memphis Belle nose art.
Here is the wall in context. The last step is to add a sun over the front of the larger P51. The original design was to have another nose art picture there, but the owner changed his mind about where things were going to go, so the sun is a solution to sort of till up the empty space.
